Using naturally durable wood to create school playground equipment
A school in Awalkheda, a remote village in Igatpuri, was looking to build a safe and healthy playground for children. Canadian Wood recommended using yellow cedar and western red cedar which proved to be an ideal choice owing to the species’ durability and excellent resistance to termites, rot and decay. The perfect solution for constant ground contact and daily wear and tear in the harsh Indian climate.
