The Canadian Wood Trial Program is an initiative designed to introduce knowledge and best practices for adapting high-quality, sustainable softwood from British Columbia (B.C.) into the production of furniture for manufacturers in India.

What We Offer

Through the program, Canadian Wood supports furniture manufacturers and provides a sufficient quantity of wood for trial use, enabling the development of new collections. This hands-on experience allows manufacturers to explore the unique properties of five softwood species from B.C. and gain a deeper understanding of their properties, characteristics, and workability.

Canadian Wood offers comprehensive technical advice throughout the trial process, supporting manufacturers from the initial stages through to completion.

The program participants will also be connected with B.C. suppliers, enabling access to certified, sustainable wood for their production needs.
