Earth Sciences Building University of British Columbia

The University of British Columbia’s recently completed Earth Sciences Building lives up to its reputation in the earth, atmosphere and oceanic sciences. This iconic structure is created using green building technologies, innovatively using cross-laminated timber (CLT), a new solid wood product that is as strong as reinforced concrete. The building used over 1300 cubic meters of CLT all sourced and engineered in British Columbia.
